Here at Rocks by Rail we have a collection of ironstone quarry related diesel and steam locomotives.
Some are fully operational and can be seen at work on our event days.
Sentinel diesels are used for our “Driver for a Fiver” days where you can try your hand at driving.
Maybe you fancy a brake van ride on our steam hauled train we call “The Rutlander”.
Operational days mean lots of activity, engines moving, points changing, volunteers going about their duties.
