Rocks by Rail – The Living Ironstone Museum is open on Sunday 2 July 2023 with steam hauled brake van rides and quarry demonstrations

The Museum will be open from 10am with a full day of quarry operations and steam brake van rides as well as all the exhibits that are related to the iron stone industry that formed such an important part of Rutlands industrial past. Your admission includes as many rides as you can take on the Rutlander train! After all that, have a rest and sit down with a drink, snack or even a bacon cob at the Sundew Cafe.  A wonderful day out for all the family and with a ticket for two adults and three children only costing £25 its great value too!
