On Sunday 17th March the first time at our operating days, we plan to have two operational steam locomotives on duty.
Experience steam hauled working in the quarry area, steam hauled visitor train rides and for the first time at Rocks by Rail we will feature steam haulage on ironstone trains up the 1 in 60 bank at three selected times of day!
Join the fun from 10.20am when the first ironstone train attacks the bank, regular quarry and train rides until the shift change at 1pm when a second train will run and then again at the end of the day when the two Barclay locomotives, No.1931 and No.2088 SIR THOMAS ROYDEN will double head to finish the day in style.
